Knott's Berry Farm history book and website

Hi all - I just wanted you to know that I finally got my website - knottspreserved.com - up and running. It's ostensibly to promote the book, which is coming out this March - but even more, to show many of the images that were cut from the book due to size limitations. Trying to fit 90 years of hist...

Damn it - why do they keep doing this? The Denny's parent corp. is guilty of such bad taste - particularly iin those "Denny's Diner" remodels. Why don't they understand what they have?

Interesting! Most of the "old" footage was not from Knott's though... Some of the clips at the end were... But I did notice a few photos I didn't have! I guess I better call the farm. Thanks for pointing this out - I didn't know about it at all!

Thank you all for coming! The turnout was greater than I had hoped - even members of the Knott family were there!

I had a blast putting it all together... Look for the book in June of 2008!

I think there will be a big turnout - I'd show up early...

Still - where's the rock walls? Has the interior been gutted? Are they going to accurately reproduce the roof line, or just kinda-sorta like those pictures imply... I'm glad ModCom got involved and talked them into fixing it as much as they would, but nothing replaces the original once it is demolis...
