1241 Encino

I am just about to purchase that house. It has great bones. I am thinking I will need an additional 200 grand to bring it back to its glory. I just posted if anyone knew of Pugsley's work. Got a response from Daybreaker and I have emailed him. The windows would be the first thing. What a travesty! B...

John L Pugsley Who?

I am considering purchasing a John L Pugsley home. Built in 1961. It has swinging bones but my god, the current owners done it entirely in Ethan Allen decor. Lots of lead glass and the ilk. Well, before I buy it I want to know if anyone out there knows of this architect so as to help me restore it p...

alternative nelson light

Did you try the Pique4u? It uses the same webbing materials and framing of the Modernica/Nelson lamps but have their own shapes and styles. I think they are a refreshing change, while paying homage to the expected and overused Nelson lights. If you have trouble locating them I can post pictures of o...

I am sure a few of my staff members would also be very interested. Could have used you when they took The Friendly...

Root rot is due to lack of drainage and or over watering or just too frequent in waterings. No blooms usually indicate a lack of fertilizer. Blooms only usually occur for 6 weeks maybe once to four times a year. What kind of plants do you have in the atrium. The ones that do the best in atriums are ...

Oh, SDR. I can arrange that. ANYWAY -- I would not recommend a poured floor over a subfloor of any kind, other than cement in which to avoid cracks. You will lose 5/8 of an inch for each layer, whether it be poured prefloor or floated with cement board. I would prefer to install Ardex, self-leveling...

Go poured. It's infinitely more cool and will last forever and you can custom color. Poured terrazzo is $25.00 a square foot. Virtually no maintenance too.
