What, no mention of the garlic cheese bread? You can buy a couple of slices for about 40 cents.
And most supermarkets sell the spread.

If the Huddle was in the TGI Fridays, that's across from Pann's.
I read that The Clock was nearby.
That area was Googie Row!

Display at Mid-Valley Library

It's a bunch of restuarant stuff from the 1940's. Matchbooks, menus stuff like that. It's in the display case on the right as you walk in. Go daytime. It's too dark at night. The library is west of Woodley on Nordhoff.

The beanbag chairs? How about the round floor chairs that spun around? They were short-lived, but fun to spin on. They were upstairs.

Old white house destroyed in Reseda

The old white house on Tampa Ave south of Roscoe is now lumber. Last week a film crew blew out part of the red barn (one of the last in the Valley) which was right next to it and used to be part of a petting zoo. :(

One thing I forgot to mention is that now they don't have a "large book" section and they put the large books in sticking way out and you hit your shoulders walking in the aisle.
Not to mention they replaced the wood shelves with metal.

The new West Valley library

Does anyone here like this new library?
I hate it.
They used to have plenty of parking. More books. Now they have less.
I voted for more stuff in the libraries. Not less. :x
