exciting developments for me anyways

i am flying in to Ontario Tuesday night and immediately driving to Las Vegas for Wednesday.

modernism only really slowed down in the US in the late 60's 70's and 80's. The 90's and 00's have seen a resurgnce of a desire for good design. Modernism never went away in the rest of the world which explains why they are leaps and bounds ahead of us in terms of design and appreciation of design.

i just got a scrap piece of steel tube 4' in diameter 24" tall. i filled the bottom 3rd with sand then lava rocks and then i just burn wood on top of that.

this cost me about $30

i also have an old modern fireplace outside as well.

I usually seek out old skirts that are felt craft projects. You can usually find something like that at a thriftstore. the lights look as though they provide lighting for both the driveway and a portion of the backyard which is functional to me.

Keep the originals, after all they are the originals.

the fence seems pretty mid-century to me, however the photo is close enough to see the actual construction technique and aesthetic of the yellow corrugation. my gut tells me....

after thinking about this long and hard, i have got to go with the original light fixtures. Clean them up abit and call them good. these lights became popular after the opening of the Colonial Williamsburg theme park. you see them in neon signs, motels etc. however if you must change them, I envisio...
