[It just didn't make sense for the Host to chastise other posters for their opinions (KateT(CA)). Then turn around and post her own opinions that were not based on facts or first hand information. Thank you, Mid Century Guy. I have been posting her for quite some time, but this is the first time I ...

Great selection & prices for vintage iron Hardoy-type butterfly chairs. Bought mine at Futures Collide in Pomona.

So I guess another way to look at it is this: Why is it that you or I can do a bad painting of a tomato soup can and it's barely worth the price of the canvas...yet Andy Warhol could do the same thing and his is worth millions at auction? http://www.jssgallery.org/Other_Artists/Andy_Warhol/Campbell...

I had a nice chat with the City Planner in Montclair about a year ago (when we were looking for our Cliff May) - there was a beautiful tract of MCMs including a few Cliff Mays, but most are gone now, remuddled entirely our of existence. Home_boy and I go cruising through there frequently looking for...

Mamaloca, if you want to see our Cliff May, just give me a call. Send me a private message for our phone number (home_boy & I live in the same house) and we'd be glad to show you ours. We're in the middle of exterior restovation, but the interiors were done beautifully by the previous owners. Th...

And I shopped at that Armstrong's for years - the Post Office & dry cleaners are still there. That was a Market Basket on the other corner where the big shopping center is now.

Very nice! I know some of those furnishings (and I think I have met the owner, too) Have you seen the lovely MCM on 4th street near Euclid? Not for sale, but breath taking and worth a drive by. For the price you could get a Cliff May here in POmona, but would need to do some restoration. That neighb...

At least they didn't stucco it to death and do a Home Depot number on it. Looks like these kids know just enough about a Cliff May to keep from doing any lasting damage, but not enough to do it really right. They should have read the book at least...the Holly oven in the original looks nice in the p...
