Yes Miguel, I like how the most decent of the plans is a one bedroom with detached garage. The other "contemporary plans" on the site look like a veterinary clinic in Phoenix strip mall.

There are some very nice modern homes on this street, but I can say from personal experience that the end of the cul de sac is a drinking spot for local teenagers. cheers :cheers:

I use to get a gorilla everytime I went to the LA zoo and spend the car ride home peeling at the excess seams. I know that they still had the machines up to 10 years ago. Has anyone been to the zoo lately?

Someone needs to donate one of these to the Musee Mechanique in SF for their collection.

i love crate and barrel for it is much cheaper than williams sonoma for cooking supplies and they have pretty lamps and good sales. you know they have a "modern" branch now too called cb2. they are new and have only done one catalog and only have a couple stores. http://www.cb2.com/Default...

Do you have cheap craft acrylics in france? here you can get 99cent bottles of most any color at the craft or paint store. after painting with these you could apply a clear medium gloss or polyeurathane (?) to make it more permanent. Can't say I have ever seen a remote cooktop control, and it looks the same as the controls of "normal" ge electric ranges, but it is kitsch so I wouldn't remove. I'll let you know if i ever see one with seperate controls, it could be a ge home of the future type thing like horizontal refri...
