Brown Saltman was one of the most appealing mid century furniture makers and your set never traveled too far it looks like. They made 'em I believe, right in SouthGate, Ca.

I like the word Eames. I can zoom right in on auctions that I want to look at, even thought it might not be technically correct. I also use other key words but Eames is one of the best!

Hey there turboblown, You can't really tell from the picture, but they are a really beautiful polished brass color. Did you get from the previous that they are a really unusual size for the doorknob diameter of 2 1/4 in.? Also I do believe that they have reproduced the diamond(square) shapes. You al...

Here are some of my extras. The starburst excuthcheons have a smaller diameter, 2 1/4 in, than most doorknobs. Don't forget, there are some doorBELL button excutcheons that you may find to match your doorknob plates...... http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r36/ffscotty/doorescutheons007.jpg http://i...

I've only ever been a buyer and I've bought 3 homes. From my buyers perspective, I did as much footwork myself as possible and really never involved the realtor until I was ready to buy(in each of my 3 buys). I travel neighborhoods I'm interested in (Old town orange, Modern Palm Springs) and look fo...

Also agree on the price. A beautiful piece, but just very hard to sell for $100, needing some work. I love my vintage dishwasher(1958), hi-fi(1962), refrigerator(1956), side by side kenmore washer and driers(1952), but not many people are willing (or want to) mess with these things. If your piece of...
