Finally...

I'm going to Palm Springs (Oct. 22-25). I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I'm staying at the Del Marco. But I plan on checking out the Orbit in.

We have been swinging toward a slab door, as i really like the idea of a punch of color. Its kindof tough to tell in the images, but the paint color is a greeny-grey, not quite olive, not quite grey. So I am thinking a deep orange, and maybe a few tigerlillies in the landscaping to tie it all toget...

Really nice job. Gives me some more ideas about my landscaping.

I really love the way you did the house numbers (my favorite part actually.) Nice and clean.

Where did you get the tiki from?

But being an oil based paint is a mess to clean up. The color is BM newburg green which does not looks turq...

New door

Finally installed new front door. Thanks for all the help and info. I ended up going with a BM oil based gloss paint (I'll update with color later.)

I made the door from a solid core dore and some frames from another door.

Before you go out and buy a new oven. You might want to hear the story of a coworker of mine. He had an old oven that was original to the house(1950-60's rambler) and the oven stopped working. He ending up getting a new one for about $1000. I helped him slide it in and he hooked up the wiring and gu...

Nice house. The patio with the decrotive blocks is nice. I really like the front door. I've been trying to track one down here in the twin cities. Have been tempted to see if I could buy one from a couple of houses.

Hello, I don't have a Cliff May or live in Long Beach or CA. But there's nothing more I hate than to see a house that's too big or that doesn't fit in with the rest of the hood. It's amazing what people will do to keep up with the Jones. Don't give up and give 'em hell! Karl http://homepage.mac.com/...

Are those kraftmaid venicia cabinets I see in the first pics you showed?

If so, how do you like them? Did you install them yourself?

Thanks,
