SF Bay Area sites to see?

The DecaturMod family will be visiting the Bay area the last week of July and are looking for tips on interesting mid-century sites to see, vintage stores, etc. in SF and the Bay Area. Has anyone been on the Heath Ceramics factory tour in Sausalito?

Cool dividing screen

I thought this dividing screen was cool -- inspired by the security screen at an L.A. store called Puppies and Babies. Tonight, September 21st at The Design Within Reach showroom in Buckhead. 6-10pm. Seven short films by the It Couple of MCM. I'll be the one with the world's cutest five-year-old in tow.

Check out www.kkdesignsfurniture.com. I haven't done business with them, but I have seen their tables at City Issue and Victory Vintage. Should be worth checking out. I am sure Lee at Victory Vintage could point you in the direction of other craftsmen capable of the job.
