Alberta is gentrified Portland, inner NE Portland where in the past 10 years it has become a hip area to buy huge old victorian homes for cheap. Not much to offer in the way of MCM...unless you want a windchime mobile made of used forks or the like.

Welcome Scandimod. Posting pics of the cool houses in your area really helps too. I'm sure that the OR and WA residents would especially like it so we know where to go when we come up to visit. I love Vancouver but don't really know my way around so an insiders perspective would be awesome-especiall...

portland sucks. don't bother. nothing to see. rains all the time  I disagree with the vulgar part of the comment, but Portland IS overcast and there is drizzle -- not strong rain -- much of the year; that's actually a good reason to go up to Council Crest as the peak is often above the weathe...

You for sure have to hit Pour and Thatch. They are located on the same block of NE 27th and Broadway. They are owned by the same guy; Pour is a wine bar with ultra sleek decor..white Knoll chairs etc and around the corner is Thatch a RAD tiki bar. They are both new places but they "get it"...

No, Portland is quite hip to it but the house is located in outer NE on a tiny lot next to a busy street. It's a great house but location, location, location. I live close by and lurk that place all the time.

Rockwood Lanes Portland Oregon Bowling Alley to be razed
