WE WON AT GETTYSBURG!

Has anyone heard any news on the Neutra Cyclorama? I checked out the website and the judge will not allow it it to be torn down. I don't see a date so I'm not sure when it was posted.

Borrego Modern III

What a great time and tour. Many thanks to Bill Lawrence from http://www.BorregoModern.com and Elizabeth Rodriguez from The House of Borrego Springs. We especially liked the Henry Hester designed home on Catarina Dr at the De Anza Desert Country Club. Also thanks to SDmod and Keith York for putting ...

Paul Edward Tay tour

We are excited that our house was on the http://www.sahscc.org/ tour yesterday. Getting to Know Architect Paul Edward Tay: Five Houses in Long Beach. There were some great homes on the tour, especially the Penn House which is only 5 blocks from our house. Nick and Eileen did a great job of restoring...

I like green as much as anyone but its a hall/closet so everything in the closet is green, the walls are green, your reflection is green, your hair is green, LOL.

I'll post more photos when the inside glass is done.

SDR, the light is awesome in the hallway; It really changes the space. I knew it would and I wanted it to be as Paul Tay originally designed it. We've done a ton of work on the house; we've replaced doors, removed the laminate floor and and put down cork, painted, remodeled the kitchen, built a new ...

Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright, 1937

I took a few photos of Fallingwater when were in Pennsylvania earlier this summer. The tour was not very expensive and took lasted two hours. We weren't allowed to take photos inside the house. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i18/modernvintage1/IMG00239_resize.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums...

Oh my, they're green

I have been planning on stripping the paint off the clerestory windows since we bought our house. The wife didn't agree. She felt it would be too hot with direct sunlight in the evening. I eventually did strip them this weekend. I was concerned about the color of the glass. our neighbor two doors do...

Josquin, thanks for posting these great photos. I had a hard time paying so much for the tour but kick myself every time i think about it. a couple years back I posted some photos of a fire station just outside the French Quarter... We love New Orleans and try to go at least once a year. We're doing a large liquidation there this spring and will post more modern when we see it.... http://www.lottaliving.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=6139&...

Mid Century house near lake Zurich, IL

I found this house last week while driving from a project I purchased in Lake Zurich, IL. I bought 300 Eames chairs from a company there. They sold the property and are moving to a new location. I was going to the O'Hare airport and happened upon this Mid Century house with a flat roof, lots of glas...

we pulled out of escrow because we found mold in a home in Costa Mesa. it was a 1700 sq ft house on a slab foundation. they quoted $20,000. could it be covered by home owners or title insurance?
