Oh yes, we have those palm tree ones all over SoCal, and they plant real trees right next to them to "blend them in." It's funny, when it's really windy, they stand out like a sore thumb! :D

I bought an item from here a few months ago and had a great experience. The lady that runs the place is very friendly, even helped us pack our stuff into the car!

WANTED: Preway Conical Fireplace

Hi all, just wondering if anybody has seen any Preway conical fireplaces for sale (other than on eBay) in the SoCal area. Can't quite afford the ones on eBay for $700-800 plus shipping, but my husband and I want one really bad! We just bought our first home and want to use it as an outdoor fireplace...

Wow, that is a beautiful home. What a view!! I love how the fireplace is elevated above the floor. I have never seen that before! I can only imagine what a home like that would cost here in CA. Thanks for sharing!!

Awesome house!! I live right down the street in an apartment complex. Didn't even know that house existed, it's hidden very well. What I wouldn't give to move up into that!! Lovely! Will there be an open house anytime soon?? :D

Funny you should mention that modfan, I work at that hsopital and have noticed a modern home on the corner of San Bernardino and Arrow Hwy, where they split. Not sure if it's a Cliff May though. My eyes are not that trained yet! That house on Sixth looks awesome, I'll have to drive by.

Thanks homeboy! I think I will drive through the neighborhood sometime this week to see some Cliff Mays in person for the first time. I went to the lecture in Pasadena a couple weeks ago but have yet to actually see any of his homes in real life (at least that I know of)! We are totally up for putti...

Ontario, CA- Mid-Century Modern 1955

Hi all, I'm new to this but I wanted to let you all know about this great house I toured in Ontario, CA. The current owner has really kept this house true to its roots. The only thing keeping my husband and I from putting an offer in is the neighborhood, not sure if it is safe for a growing family??...
