I love porches. We visit Ellensburg, WA in eastern wa often. We used to live there, EVERYONE uses their porches for hanging out on a hot night, saying hi to neighbors... It is a walking town and that makes for a lot of people strolling by. Yes, they can collect crap but the same people will collect ...

old topic... but did you have any luck staining it? We stained our concrete pool deck this weekend, trying to figure out how to tone it down, it turned out too orangey pinky, i fear we may have really messed up. thinking about scrubbing it with an abrasive to wear it down then applying another color...

I've lived in Washington State most of my life and i can count on my hands the number of times I've been to the washington coast. There is a very small window where the weather is tolerable there. i vote for an orange that borders on red...
i would paint the trim, see how you like it.
as for the molding i would not paint it the color of the door but a tan or something to blend with the surrounding brick..
thats my 2 cents!

i agree, Miguel. nothing makes me cringe more than Tuscan anything. (unless it is actually IN tuscany) "tuscan" kitchens have got to be one of the worst things that comes up on HGTV all the time. The white trim thing is very prevelant here in seattle area, worst part is when you sell your ...

Hi, Here is what we recently did for a backsplash combining subway and 1 x 6 glass tiles of varying shades. the tile was all from HD and the subway tile there is pretty reasonable. We are very happy with it, its one of my favorite parts of the kitchen. Good Luck! http://fisherfamilyranch.googlepages...
