I have the a couple of chairs from the same manufacturer. You can find the vinyl covered rope at your local True Value Hardware store or someplace similar. It's just what was used as clothes line before dryers became ubiquitous. I wish they had more than white. I've seen vintage clothes line in a lo...

Check this one out on your local craigslist.

Found something interesting near you on Craigslist. Better hurry though. If your c-list is anything like ours in St. Louis Mo. anything cool at a low price is gone tout de suite. AND it's really really cheap so you could afford to have it re-upholstered....or just professionally cleaned. If this one...

I buy off craigslist, from thrift stores and flea markets all the time. I resell a lot of it for a lot more than I paid. My Golden Rule ? Never Ever buy anything that I wouldn't be happy keeping forever. You'll never end up with a dud. If the chair is priced right and you like it enough to keep it, ...

Heywood Wakefield

Nice set of Hey-Wake. I can't live with a full size bed though. I have two of these headboards and one footboard that I'm hoping to some day modify into one Queen set (somehow). I've got some ideas. We'll see. Having a matched set of night stands is a huge plus! I need to find a lower profile chest ...

I'm an avid buyer and seller on craigslist here in St. Louis Mo. I start with a price of about $80 a chair or dining table when sold as a set and then add or subtract for subjective values. A name like Heywood Wakefield? Add $$. Wobbley and need re-glued? Subtract $$. A cool or unusual design (like ...

I picked it up super cheap. I was just about to leave the thrift store when I spotted it out of the corner of my eye. It was put on the floor while I was going through the smalls. It didn't last 10 minutes! I had it in the car and on the way home "tout de suite"!

I'm far up north of the airport in Florissant near Lindberg and Florissant Rd. I'm just far enough away from the airport that I never hear the planes. I was in bed last night just after turning off the TV and marveled at how utterly silent my neighborhood was!
