Cool place. I didn't know that there were any Keck houses in Tennessee, although I'm very familiar with their Chicago-area work. I live in a modernist house about 75 miles from Chattanooga.

We also used Azrock brand tiles in our house, though not speckled -- just solid white and solid black. In retrospect, I think that the speckles would have hidden dirt much better.

We have white VCT in many areas of our house. It looks cool but is a real pain to keep clean -- especially in the kitchen. You can see some photos in my house thread (see the link in my signature).

I actually just bought the Meier one for my wife. She gave me the Sottsass one from the same series. They are awesome pens.

My first Acme pen was one of the cheaper models (a Wright design), which my brother gave me years ago as a best-man gift.
