Anyone who has completed the free tree program, can you tell me how it works, do they give you one tree, can you select to have multiple trees. Do they deliver the tree/s to you. And finally what size are they when they arrive.

Thanks,
Philip

Thanks Joe,
I found the Eckbo book.

Also, what was the name of the stuff that can be used to patch or repair rock roofs. The plastic I put on the roof is all gone, and I want to repair the leaks before the next rain.

Thanks,
Philip

Thanks Joe,
Good to hear from you too. I was planning to order some books by Eckbo. Can I still find the pics of your landscaping projects somewhere?
Thanks,
Philip

We have an update!

Thankyou for all the replies. The website has been somewhat updated. We have been working almost non stop at tearing down the built-ins (which was carpet on top of doors and 2x4's nailed to the floor...) repairing the walls and discovering the some dangerous wiring. We were seconds from a fire when ...

finding fickett

We just bought our first house. It is an Ed Fickett. The other houses in the neighborhood are some unfortunate remodels but the people are great. We hope to set an example by restoring and updating our modern nest. It has been really difficult to find windows that are not french, a door with the kno...

I keep hearing things about a self leveling concrete called ardex. This seems fairly DIY, but I am not quite sure what the finished product would look like or if it really is that easy to do...Does anybody have any experience with Ardex?

Does Anyone have any suggestions for concrete flooring?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for concrete flooring...We are looking into the polished concrete and also the epoxy coated concrete (or any other coated concrete). We have looked at a few companies, but are wondering how impossible it is to DIY? Does anyone know how to do the ...
