I'm glad this thread lives on! In a way it keeps my beautiful home alive... What a shame it was to first let it go and then see it torn down. I'm still sad and missing my beams. :cry:

My last house (MCM) had concrete floors and I would have it no other way, that's why my new house is got concrete floors incorporated into the plans. Concrete floors turn SID on!
