And as well, who doesn't like a little hysteria now and then? I for one am fueled by it, but that's just me.

Too bad Tishri isn't later in the year, 'cuz then we could meet in a church and then go atone for it! I can perform the Kol Nidre on the Theremin...

There's a bevy of MCM mortuaries in this burg...Angelus on Crenshaw is Paul Williams...but don't know if open mortuaries dig (no pun intended) what might confilct with a service. Nor may they be hip to the confluence with "spooky Halloweeny." In any event, I could also go for the ol' Abnor...

The Meyer and Holler Pierce Brothers on Washington? Not MCM, but a historic-cultural landmark. And for sale, so we wouldn't be bothering any of the nice morticians at work. Plenty of parking, too.

Let me see if I've got this straight. Across Christmas Morning Mid-Century America, there are tiny animatronic girls who have saluted the führer--guess he just walked in to watch Kuklux Fran & Ollie on the Philco. Meanwhile, kittens sniff their mid-regions. I see. http://static.flickr.com/84/24...

Maybe I should have my ashes shot into space, like in The Loved One. That way, I'd be closert to God and stuff.

Hopefully my rocket won't be manned by these astronuts.

I still can't get over Jesus Use Me , with its streamlined bus, erupting waters, floating Head of Christ and Mr. Miller's particular ability to play the Hammond.
