There's a huge structure under the MTA building behind Union Station. I think it's $6 or there's a "park and ride" at the Universal City station near Campo de Cahuenga.

The former Home Savings branch at 21816 Victory Blvd. in Woodland Hills is in the path of a new Costco development. The building still has a ceramic tile mural from 1973. Years ago the Modern Committee was contacted about this and I believe it was felt that ModCom is doing the same work DoCoMoMo would do and that we are sort of a de facto chapter.

I kinda liked it... the terminal at JFK was amazing. Did they really build that? I imagine its CGI, but looked great. There's also a scene of a helicopter taking off from their headquarters building and flying over 1963 NY that's pretty amazing. IMHO, it looks better than it plays... but still bette...

The extraordinarily complicated real estate transaction is still playing out, but cleared its last major hurdle (I hope) in court on Friday. The work can't start until they get the keys, but keep checking here for updates.
