Perhaps we'll see you at one of the open houses this weekend? Im surprised I havent stopped by too!!! I hope to ...

There are rope lights with LEDs and rope lights with incandescent bulbs. The LED type is quite a bit more expensive, but uses very little wattage and consequently produces very little heat. Naturally, it costs more. Both are available at the Big Orange Box. LED lights are available in different col...

Thanks everyone for the positive comments on my kitchen. I couldn't afford a complete gut and re-model (would have loved to start moving walls, etc), but I'm very pleased with the results we achieved considering the price tag. Great job robb, if I was staying with the same configuration this would be so much easier but I am changing the layout of the cabinets and can't really reuse any of them, or just replace the doors

Kitchen remodel/cabinet cost

I have a 1953 CLiff May and I ned to redo the kitchen. To have a good cabinet maker build cabinets will cost about 11,000 - 14,000. This is way to much for me to spend. Of course IKEA would be a viable option but I want to eexplore other options before making a final decision. Does anyone have any s...

If you were going to flip the house, then it makes sense to focus on the random parts that need improving to get the house to show well but if you are going to live in it, the closets just do not seem like the first place to start... Nobody is attacking you but if you are going to boast about all yo...
