there was a nice orange ball on National just north of the 10 freeway and visible from it, in west los angeles. drove by today--yeah, it's been replaced.

Purists may not like these revivalists, but how about the Cafe 50's signs? They have neon clocks and lettering that says "Time to Eat," meaning that whatever time the clock says, that's "Time to Eat." Ya get it? Like, it's always "Time to Eat." Pretty clever!
