Neutra

I'm not sure if it is in Works. The site says it was only recently confirmed as a Neutra, by that MSU professor. There is one other Neutra house in Montana: The Mosby house, which overlooks the Missoula valley from a hillside neighborhood in the city's Southeast corner. I can't find any online photo...

This will take you to the same TV bit about Mitchell, SD's Lustron district, if the original one doesn't work.

Newsboys-Take Me to Your Leader album cover (space vehicle)

http://www.grassrootsmusic.com/artist/newsboys/newsboys5 I've always been curious about the vintage photo of the bumper car-like vehicle on the Newsboys-Take Me to Your Leader album. The inside jacket does identify the name of the car as well as the inventor's name...but I lost my copy of the CD. An...

Habitat ReStore

In 2004, I bought 15 squares of Tamko-brand roofing shingles from our local Habitat ReStore for $5.00/bundle=$15.00/square. (The guy who did my roof couldn't believe it!) Granted, they were work-release inmates :? who helped me load the shingles into my vehicle, I was shown most helpful and courteou...

Let's try this again. Hi Lo's take 2!

www.singers.com/jazz/hi-los.html is what I meant to type in. (My bad!) The Christmas link, www.singers.com/christma.html serves up some of the finest examples of vocal jazz. I personally go nuts over the Minneapolis-based group 'The Blenders'.

Acappella Vocal Jazz - Lotta Livin' byGene Puerling/Hi-Lo's

http://www.singers.com/jazz/hi-los/html is where to find Gene Puerling's fine vocal jazz arrangement of this website's namesake. http://www.singers.com is a fun site to explore for its wide array of tightly harmonic songs with that great Mid Century Modern SOUND: Manhattan Transfer, Take 6, Vox One,...

Vintage Handpainted Neckties

How 'bout them handpainted neckties from the fashionable 1940's? Check out http://www.geocities.com/RodeoDrive/4026/ for a look at what men were wearing back then. They were gaudy and just plain fun pieces of American folk art. Why can't THESE make a comeback? (Better'n a tattoo...)
