a hidden stereo...

hi there, my hubby and i are amateur northern soul/6t's dj's and wannabee record collectors. here is our little cabinet, made from a cabinet we almost tossed out. we put hinges on the top piece of wood, took out the drawers and made the fronts so they don't open, and drilled some holes out the back ...

pink fridges & stuff

Hey there, I thought it looked new and old at the same time! Good for you, I would love to do the same thing. Can't afford a $3000 plus fridge, and it's actually more of the space constraints - fitting it in where my vintage smaller one used to be. We should look into that, it would be like getting ...

Looks GREAT Sheryl! I just love it! We made our gates blend in as much as possible. We didn't want them to "invite" people into our backyard. We left off the handles and and most of the hinge hardware is hidden from the front. Your fence will look great painted an opaque color! That's what...

fun pictures

Hi there, enjoyed looking at your pictures.
I have a question about your fridge, what make and year is it? Did you have it painted?

We lost our pink fridge this year to fridge heaven.

Thanks

THE FENCE IS IN!

It's been a long process, from coming up with designs, to bidding it out (7 different companies) to taking trees down, to dealing with neighbors, you name it. It's done and we like it, and I guess that's all that matters  Here are some pictures if anyone is interested. Thanks for all the input...

alcoa house

Hi, I live a block away from this house and go by it on a daily basis. There are a few weird things that have been done to the house. It originally had a carport, and now it is a garage that wasn't done quite right. I must say that carports are worthless in MN for so many reasons, and even though We...

thanks for the posts!

The Louvertec stuff is SWEET! (and probably way out of our price range.) Today  we are going with an "alternating bay" horizontal cedar fence. Looks like it will run us about $6000 for 170' of 6' western cedar without knots. I have never seen this fence up; we picked it out of an old...

Hey there, looks really nice, did you use Ikea kitchen cabinets or their vanity line as the base cabinets? We are (at this very minute) working on our bath, and we will be installing 2 X 15" white akurum Ikea kitchen cabs, side by side. I originally bought their 4" round legs, but ended up...

Narrowed it down to 3 fence styles, started the process!

Hi, thanks for all the replies, I appreciate all the input & ideas. I finally put some pictures into shutterfly. We are getting estimates for 3 styles of 6' privacy fence: a batten board (like Joe's), a vertical louvered, and a horizontal louvered. There are to be no open spaces between the slat...

There are a TON of these machines still in use at the Como Zoo in St. Paul, MN.
