Snap! Thanks Stephen. I'm still all for expanding the closet, but the mr. seems to like it the way it is. Interestingly, the location of your bathroom door would be just about where the bathtub is in my house (and probably Sienna's too). I think it's neat to uncover the nuanced differences between ...

Cliff May question - original or not?

These bullet lights were in our master bedroom and great room. Are they original to our Cliff May? We're doing an electrical upgrade right now and saved them out in hopes of using them on the exterior. Thoughts? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v131/rachquiz/CIMG0785.jpg Also, is this vanity in our...

mr. and mrs. meow: I also looked at the Blomus 65145 - Bebop Fire Screen, but wondered if having to completely move the screen whenever you needed to add wood or adjust the fire would be a bit of a hassle? --Robb I didn't think about that, but yes, that could be quite an annoyance. Good call, Robb.

You don't have a door off the Lanai? I never thought about this I wonder if mine was added at one point. I have seen a few Mays where they added a door from the Kitchen to the Garage (Example: Doug and Rochelle Kramer's listing on Lanai). Nope, no door off the lanai. The kitchen-garage door would b...

thanks for the feedback, everyone. this will probably be a project sometime soon since we'll also have to add an additional entry to the garage. as it stands, the only way in is through our garage door (currently manual) at the front of the house. and it's 1-car which means we probably can't have la...
