The Van Nuys location hit the wrecking ball in '04, but the Chris' n Pitt's neon signs were saved by the Museum of Neon Art (MONA) and the American Sign Museum (ASM). I'm very happy to announce that Chris' n Pitt's giant fascia sign in all of its neon-and-flickerbulb glory is just a few bulbs away f...

Funny you should mention it, but Julien's Auctions is moving into the old Robinson's space with an auction preview exhibition for the Michael Jackson Estate sale. They don't mention the location by its old name, but by the address, 9900 Wilshire. They'll take over the entire ground floor of the prop...

I live a few blocks from that bridge and have to agree with the boo-ing crowd, that neighborhood does not need some architect's vanity project disrupting the calm and historic order of the Los Angeles River bridges. Yes, the 6th Street Bridge will come down, but the new one should duplicate the orig...

La Villa Basque is currently looking for a manager to take over the place. The previous one implemented some great ideas, like longer business hours with a breakfast and happy hour, but he's now gone. I haven't seen or heard anything otherwise.
