Concrete Floor repair product

After ripping up crappy carpet and linoleum we found a cracked and crumbling slab. Our intent was to refinish it but the price has been crazy due to the issues that need to be addressed. I'm curious, anyone ever seen or had experience with this product: http://www.maxxon.com/level-right_weartop/data...

Here is the most affordable one I could find: http://www.gelfireplacestore.com/servlet/the-Flamebox/Categories yes, most of them just drop into the fireplace, but it would take some work to make them look built in I think. I saw someone hide the burner using fake logs which might work ok...much chea...

Convert wood burning fireplace to Denatured Ethanol

Hey all,

I would love to convert our fireplace to denatured ethanol, but I'm having trouble finding a way to do it. I've located plenty of full ventless fireplaces for sale but it seems like there should be an easy drop-in kit to convert it.

any ideas? anyone done this?

a plug for Mike and his company...

Spoke with Mike on the phone, he is quite knowledgeable and able to educate you on working with your concrete flooring needs.

I don't think we can use Mike just due to distance but polishing looks like the way to go for sure.

Las Vegas - Alan Hess invades Las Vegas 10/1 - 10/5

All but one of these events is in the past, but wanted to post these events for posterity. We spent the weekend celebrating Zick & Sharp, a local midmod architecture firm. coming up tonight, Mr. Hess is speaking about Paul Revere Williams and his work on the La Concha hotel here in Las Vegas. My...

Right now I use IDX Renditioner Express. It's limited to 640x480 but very easy to use and comes in both PC and Mac versions. Also a great product, very comparable to Podium. here is a video of my model (not even close to complete): http://www.zdphotos.com/house/pawnee.avi This is the actual model: ...

Kitchen and baths are on the lengthy list...ugly but they function so its down the list a ways. The laundry definitely needs to move.
