In order to make the most out of your solar panel investment you have to align the panels for the greatest sun exposure. Depending on the direction your house faces, the necessary panel alignment may not have the appearance you desire. You can still put the panels in the alignment of normal roof til...

I know this is digging up an old thread but I thought I would throw some more stucco commentary out for discussion. I have seen a lot of high end stucco houses that are spectacular. It really disappoints me that the majority of developers/home owners are so cheap in their methods that they use the t...

Since this thread is discussing concrete, can anyone suggest a good concrete contractor in the Long Beach area? I have looked through this board and through the Rancho Yahoo group. I have only seen the question asked in the past, but no responses. I am looking to do a lot of concreting in the not to...

Well I am now moved in and getting things cleaned up. I am also making a nice wish list. I am thinking of seeing if Joe Estrada, who did the kitchen cabinets btw, could do a couple little cabinets in the bathrooms. I have somehow managed to accumulate a large amount of crap while living in a one bed...

The appraisal was done based on other sales within the Cliff May Ranchos. However, without an appraiser that understood the exact area, things would have been much more difficult. I have included some more kitchen photos below. Doug kind of snuck into one shot. I will get new photos when I get mysel...

I recently wandered around Venice Beach just to snap some photos of fences since they are a very common sight around the area. Here are a some photos of my findings: http://www.merritr.com/Fences/DSC_0802.JPG http://www.merritr.com/Fences/DSC_0804.JPG http://www.merritr.com/Fences/DSC_0816.JPG more ...

By putting windows back in the garage I mean putting the triangular windows back into the gables that were originally there.

New Long Beach Rancho Cliff May owner

I want to say hello to everyone, particularly the Long Beach Rancho owners. I have been lurking on this board for some time now. I restrained from posting until this point though because I thought it might jinx my chances of finding the perfect MCM home. However, thanks to Doug Kramer and his Rancho...
