Kitchen and Dining room

Looks great! I really like the kitchen. Did you do all the install of the cabinets yourself? You guys have the same nelson lamp we have in our dining room. As for our backsplash...we are having some samples mailed to us. We gotta get it right the first time. It's not like paint where you can just pa...

Kitchen back splash

I recently bought a mid century ranch that has had the kitchen remodeled. I know it's not a mid century kitchen for you purists out there. However, I paid for the remodeled kitchen in the purchase price of the home so I will not be remodeling it since it is all new. I do need to put up a back splash...

$200-300 depending on condition and size. Alot of times your better off getting a new one. Nelson/miller lamps don't have too much value.

painting the brick

In my opinion, I would not paint the brick. Why are you painting, is it in bad shape? Once you paint it, it's almost impossible to remove. It's permanent. As for the rest of the house you can always paint and repaint if the color the does not appeal to you.

lighting

For lighting I used a low voltage Malibu system from Home depot or Lowes. It is extremely simple to install that even the village idiot (myself) could install. You just lay the 12 gauge cable where you want the lights and clip the fixtures into place. I used 20 watt lights on a 300 watt power box. C...

Concrete Pavers for Landscape

I've noticed a lot of home on the Ranshostyle website using concrete pavers for walkways. The largest pavers I've seen sold 24x24 in are at Lowes Hardware. I'm looking for at least 36 x 24 in or 36 x 36. Any advice?
