I just picked this up today, its my first foray into "vintage electronics". As far as I can tell, its a 1965 Voice of Music "V-M" record changer. Model 1285. It had a pretty good hum when i plugged it in and turned it on. So i turned it off right away and unplugged it. Advice? ht...

We picked one up last year for our ranch, its a bit older than our place (fridge is '56, ranch is '61) But the space where were putting it on looks like it was MADE for this fridge. Should go good with the Custom Imperial Flair stove/oven we picked up. :)

Thats a really interesting place. Its got some good bones.
Im not sure how I would classify it either, kindof contemporary meets a-frame? With the right eye, and details it could be very modern.
I love looking at homes like that and dreaming about making it extra cool.

Very cool, thanks for the link. Wonder what the "main house" looks like.
His decorating style is inspirational to a person like me, who appreciates minimalism, but in reality just likes "stuff" way too much!

the roof line absolutely must without exception be as pointy and complex as possible! I completely agree with this observation, I used to joke with my wife that the new construction people must be in bed with people in the roofing/reroofing/roof repair industry. The other thing that drives me crazy...

I am starting to look into security systems but have NO experience in this realm AT ALL, so i was hoping to get some insight ...
