Yep -- we were out at the park today and it's even more incredible in person -- a giant 1960s sandbox filled with magical creatures! Kids were having a great time climbing up the lighthouse and playing on the dragon hill.

It's true about the 5th Avenue -- I've brought this up at Modcom and made both LAC and the Theater Committee aware of it. The 5th Avenue is a stunningly original art deco theater, right down to the pink and brown terrazzo entry. Just down the street from the beautiful Academy.
