It was original to the house and I was kinda disappointed, but we have kids with dirty fingers and I'm sure it was super dusty! so I am planning to paint it and off white and glaze it with a slightly dar...

no sun at all. not direct water, but maybe some moisture. We plan on putting full windows in at sometime. right now it is plexi and we take a few off in the summer and leave as screens but the overhangs are so wide I don't think we get water in.

Barcol is the only label I can find. I know they are common. I just dropped off a design for a client and she has the same door on her 60's ranch, same label and all. Her bottom panel is doing the same thing.

we are trying to decide on flooring. I want to be "done" with it by winter if possible. We have 2 screen porches that can house furniture while we work. If it is too cold, we will have to store them inside somewhere. Here is our case.... 1 airedale terrier, he's a year old. 2 kids... 18 mo...

we were contemplating a "float" cork, but are leaning toward concrete. We have a "radiant" floor. The floor actually works best in our laundry, because it has concrete floors, followed by the kitchen and baths because they have tile... which is late 80's early 90's style and need...

concrete floor question

are these salvageable? Looks like glue. I'm guessing its from the parquet that used to be through out our techbuilt home.

I would really love to pull up all the carpet but Im afraid.

I found a retailer that has the powder coated doors. I still have yet to find anyone that will just sell a panel. I would have to have it made... ours has a slight texture and I'm sure would never match right. So I am leaning toward new door at this time. I kinda like no gutters, we are on a slab so...

I am loving the powder coated steel :) I have to find some one here in IL that carries them now.... I like the polished look of them. Slim, I love the colors of your house! Those were the colors of our last house. If I had it my way I would do the pink, not so sure Hubby will go for it though....

Garage door on Techbuilt house??? AFTER pic POSTED

Our garage door is in need of replacement. I need to get a picture of it, but the bottom panel is severely rotted. We have no gutters so this contributed to the deterioration, that and we live in the woods. So I want to replace it with something that suits the house, but is more practical than wood....
