First off I want to say I love the color combo of both the home and door. And I love the style Eichler you have. (one of these days I'll get inside one) Personally I never cared for the orig Eichler numbers (way too small). I think Neutra styled # are simply the best option for all MCM's period. DWR...

Re: Hmmmm

It has had many incarnations, but I worked there when it was the old "Earth Hole" ...that is to say "Whole Earth Access" in the 80's. The outside stairwells would have been modified in the actual execution, but otherwise, it looks about right. Very curious to see what you turn u...

Interesting stuff indeed. This is the one mid century element though I can't get into, the clothing. If anything it would be men's suites and business wear of that era.

Nice chair, looks to have a direct Asian influance to me. Look to see if any markings are anywhere on the underside of it, i.e. company name etc. under cushion.

Although cool I wonder though with most these hacks if its even worth the time and effort. As we know the material used in most their furniture is very cheap. Its kinda like installing a $50,000+ kitchen in a mobile home.

MCM Calendars (?)

I wish I was here posting a thread to tell you all that I found some really wonderful quality photo filled calendars, but unfortunately not, sorry. I'm here instead to ask if anyone know of a source where I can find some nice MCM calendars. Thus far I've only been able to find Frank Lloyd Wright. Do...

Just saying Hello

Hello all Just droping in to say hello from a fellow MCM lover. I currently live in a small (1200sq ft) but lovely 1959 Post and beam MCM of sorts in the city of Pinole Ca (Bay Area). I'm hoping to find out who the developer/ architect was as I'm kinda on a mission. Their are about 100 + or - in a s...
