Well we have a new house and now we need a fence for our puggies (Billy and Judge). My Wife (Tiffany) and I are torn between vertical or horizontal. Should we match our siding? The mantle cleat is probably attached with some screws set into expansion anchors - probably in the mortar (easier to drill into that than in the stone) - I'd pull the cleat off and repair the holes if it's possible - much better without than with in my opinion. -- John I will need to take the mant...
