it's funny, in seattle the prices are so high that when we moved here (15 min south of seattle) you had to "settle" for a ranch. most people here want a craftsman type house. but driving around here, there are more tract home neighborhoods from the 50's then i can even count. we have grown...

i've been seeing a ton of mcm credenza/dressers on craigs lately for around 250. (i have been in the market for an affordable dresser for a while)
id say a vintage piece would be cool to offset the nice, new furniture.

thanks for representing those of us in standard tract homes. While there was something sweet about the before shot, i would much rather drive up to the after shot after a long day. You gave me a good idea for paint colors.

The floor looks great! very clean, is that bamboo? i can't talk about front doors i guess since ours is a stupid half moon lite that was popular with it seems everyone in the neighborhood in the 80s... i also painted it the standard mcm orange which now it seems to most people on here to be a cliche...
