Stanford, CA - Eichler for Stanford Faculty & Staff

Postby luther » Thu Feb 10, 2011 10:14 am

From the realtor:

*AVAILABLE TO APPROVED STANFORD FACULTY AND STAFF ONLY* Custom built for the current owners in 1969 with personal attention from the renowned builder, Joseph Eichler, this home is a stellar representation of his mid-century design. The one-level home revolves around a fully enclosed courtyard that not only provides a welcome introduction and enchanting outdoor living space but also fills the surrounding rooms with natural light from the open sky above. Well-maintained, the home boasts original design elements including beamed and paneled ceilings throughout, vinyl tile floors in some rooms, and laminate cabinetry and countertops. Abundant sliding glass doors connect many rooms with the outside, where spacious terraces are bordered by built-in seating benches, mature foliage, and ample room for gardening – all in a very private setting.

there's an actual address of Stanford. I thought Stanford was in Palo Alto.
