Very Nice House. I found it weird that they had a Pottery Barn looking Firescreen on for the Pictures. Sort of threw me off.

Bizarre! Separately, they are decent architectural styles, but grafting them like this reminds me of those "fruit cocktail" trees where you graft peaches & cherries & apples and *nothing* ever bears fruit!

Well...I gotta admit, it's better than most add-ons I've seen. Still a strange juxtaposition. The architect could definitely have done more to integrate the two structures.

First I thought it was 2 residences next to each other not 2 incongruous styles onto the same house. Purists may moan and others will rant about it but I have seen worse remodels. I neither dislike nor like it.
I'd have to see what that resulting floor plan/flow is, if it's badly done then no but if it works fine.

I "heart" this place. Definitely going to check it out this Sunday at the open house. Reminds me of the Koning/Eizenberg addition on the Erenberg which was a loft like space attached to a 1923 Spanish style home.
