Anybody see "A Single Man"? It's set in 1962 Santa Monica and has some great location photography including the John Lautner's Shaffer residence (527 Whiting Woods Rd., Glendale) Chez Jay (1657 Ocean Avenue
Santa Monica, CA) Ambassador College (131 South Street John Ave., Pasadena) and posing as a liquor store (?!) the lovely brick building at Hawthorn St. and Pasadena Ave. in South Pasadena.

Thanks for that location Nichols. I had wondered where that "Liquor" store was. At the back end of a parking lot, I likely never would have found it.

Great movie by the way — I'm proud to say I have a credenza that popped up in the background of the lead's home. Cool!
