Daniel Dravot was more lucid with his words then any attorney or barrister that I've ever met. He's a fine addition to my team.

There is no committee her, and damn the rules if there was. Now, go ahead and make your pick. Don't make me play the chicken card again.

Fine.

For its first pick in the supplemental draft, Team Sky selects as its fictional extraterrestrial:

    Uncle Martin

Get serious, man.

If he was an extraterrestrial, how could he be your uncle?

He wasn't my uncle; he was a fictional character in the TV series "My Favorite Martian." It's amazing that he wasn't selected in MCMFD V.

Well, if uncles had vaginas, he'd be your aunt. Let's get on with this.

Mulai Ahmed er Raisuli, ruler of all Morocco, swordsman, cocksman and politician.

Can you tone it down with the genital talk, sean. It's not our board and that kind of thing is frowned upon here.

Otherwise. that wasn't such a bad pick - at least er Raisuli could be considered a politician. So what if the movie was released in 1975 and the story was from the early 1900s. I must admit it was your best pick yet.

And here's my second pick. My fictional spy:
    John Drake
Now, I know you're not going to like that pick, but most Lotta Livingites will.

I was merely stating a fact.

And this is getting rather tiresome, all this going back and forth. Here's the rest of my team.
    Zed, astronaut
    Michael McBride, poet
    Titanic Deck Hand, news person
    William Forrester, writer
    John Patrick Mason, extraterrestrial
    Bowels, Indian chief

That makes only nine picks. Can you go ahead and finish, and then I'll point out the ridiculousness of each.

I'm afraid to ask. You never played a character named Bowels. Who is Chief Bowels?

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

I apologize for that. What more can I say?

Anyone else willing to associate themselves with this thread is still welcome to field a team in the supplemental draft. No rules. Just post a team that you think is better than sean's. Shouldn't be too hard.

Let's finish this puppy. The remainder of my picks for the supplemental draft:
    3. Noc-A-Homa, Indian Chief (mascot for the Cleveland Indians since the 50s)
    4. Josephine McKenna, singer (should have been a first rounder - que sera sera!)
    5. Martin Lane, news person (writer for the Chronicle and Patty Duke's dad on the show)
    6. Napoleon, politican (not that Napoleon, this is the pig from Animal Farm, a pick inspired by FG's Big Brother pick, and the only pig picked in the draft)
    7. Henry Drummond, lawyer (from Inherit the Wind, the fictional version of Clarence Darrow)
    8. Roy Fleming, astronaut (reluctantly picked character played by Don Knotts in a movie)
    9. Dagny Taggart, Ayn Rand Character (from Atlas Shrugged, a strong female lead!)
    10. Alex Stone, doctor (Donna Reed's pediatrician husband her show)
    11. Kookie, poet (and kool dude from 77 Sunset Strip)
    12. Laura Petrie, housewife (Oh, Rob! {sob})

Since it's a supplemental draft, anyone still wanting to share a team that they would pick is welcome to post it here.
