The exhibit opens this spring. This is a Kickstarter campaign to improve aspects of it.

One of the creators of this exhibit was interviewed on the radio Feb. 8, 2013 and can be heard here (the segment begins about 43 minutes into the show):

Among the subjects discussed are the original plan for LA Int'l Airport (with the large dome) and serious plans for extensive trains, including subways circa the 1920s and why none of it happened.
