MCM Jeopardy! Day One

Postby sky » Thu Mar 24, 2005 4:19 pm

Welcome ladies and germs. It's time for MCM Jeopardy!, the oldest established permanent floating board game on the Internet. I'll be your game MODerator today, posting under username Sky, but you can call me Alex.

Let's begin. Today's categories are:

Image

Here's how it works:
* Everyone can play.
* For no apparent reason, please make sure you phrase your response in the form of a question.
* Once an answer is posted, anyone can post a question in response.
* The first correct poster wins the point value of the answer, and is in control of the board.
* If you are in control of the board and do not select a new answer within 10 minutes, the MODerator may select the next answer for you.
* There is only one round, but there are two Daily Doubles.
* The round ends when all answers are posted, or complete and total apathy reigns, whichever comes first.
* There is also one final MCM Jeopardy! answer. Your wager for the final answer must be sent by PM to the MODerator before the final answer is posted. Your response to the final answer must be sent by PM to the MODerator within one day of the date the answer is posted.
* The contestant with the highest point value wins. There is no prize or monetary consideration. The winner has the satisfaction of knowing that they are the MCM Jeorady! champion!
* During the course of the game, you may be called upon to tell us a humorous anecdote about yourself. The MODerator may retort in a way that only he will think is funny. So, be prepared!

To illustrate how this works, I'm going to call on my friend Big Julie to select the first answer. (Big Julie will not be participating in this game beyond this illustration.)

Big Julie, I remind you that I hold your marker. It's your board ...
