Day Seven.

You know someone once said that if you need something done, give it to someone who can get it done. Well, I needed something done; I needed an assignment to give you guys. But I'm a busy guy, and so I gave the task of thinking of an assignment for you to George.

But George didn't show up for work today - I don't know why - has anyone seen George? So, your next assignment is to come up with an assignment for someone who wants to be "The MCM Apprentice," and then complete that assignment yourselves.

Whoever best completes the assignment wins and will be exempt from being fired in the next round. The others will come back here to this thread the next day, and somebody will be fired.

Any questions? Good. Now everyone go out there and lets get it done.

Do you know what an Andy Gump is Trump?

MISSING my long and straight beams, stretching from the outside and piercing through the interior and back out again; seeing it all in one glance! WOW, it was gorgeous!

An Andy Gump? As in www.andygump.com/septic.html ? Yeah, I know what that is. That's where we send the losers from The MCM Apprentice.

Day Eight.

Okay, let's see how we did. Carolyn, how did they do? Let's look at the assignments first. Can we do that? Let's look at the assignments first.

The first assignment was made by Bender Inc, which was to develop an industrial robot mate for drunken lovelorn robots.

The next assignment was made by Moderns-r-me, which was to develop mid-century modern day care in Kansas City.

The next assignment was made by Chimay Worth, which was to create Unibomber franchises to tear down McMansions.

The last assignment was made by Exxon-Martha-Omnichols, which is now Pfizer-Exxon-Martha-Omnichols as the result of another merger, and their assignment was to run a mid-century modern bordello with product tie-ins and horizontal marketing.

That's good. I was thinking about giving them some of the same assignments myself.

And how did they do? How much money did they make?

Bender Inc lost $30,000 on revenues of $0.
Moderns-r-me lost $500 on revenues of $10,000.
Chimay Worth lost $10,000 on capital expenditures, but has $15,000,000 in potential liability.
Pfizer-Exxon-Matha-Omnichols had a net profit of $60,000,000 on revenues of $59,950,000.

Good job Pfizer-Exxon-Martha-Omnichols. You are exempt in the next round, although you may still compete.

Chimay Worth: Don't worry about all that liability; that's what bankruptcy courts are for. Props to you for knocking down those god-awful McMansions. I for one don't understand why anyone would build like that for in less than 25,000 square feet. Am I right?

Bender Inc: You're fired.

He let his personal life get in the way, and he lost $30,000. Do you know how many haircuts I can get for $30,000 - two, three - this isn't personal it's strictly business. Bender Inc had to go. Carolyn, do you agree? George?

Where's George?

Okay, the rest of you, Moderns-r-me, Chimay Worth, and Pfizer-Exxon-Martha-Omnichols, get some rest and be back here tomorrow at 10:00 for your next assignment.

Day Nine.

Someone once said that the best ideas are the ones you steal from your competition. Espionage was a major reoccurring theme in the mid-20th century - there was that James Bond guy, that Dean Martin guy, that Derek Flintstone guy - and then there were fictional characters too. Your next mission is to infiltrate a Fortune 500 company, steal one their secrets for future products, and bring that product to market yourself first.

Whoever best completes the assignment wins and will be exempt from being fired in the next round. The others will come back here to this thread the next day, and somebody will be fired.

Any questions? Good. Now everyone go out there and let's see some real spying.

Be careful what you ask for; JulieB was originally Big Julie from "Guys and Dolls" (he had a prefect record 33 arrests and no convictions), a sidekick for Sky in MCM Jeopardy!

Carolyn from the Apprentice, however, is Board Room hot; you're probably going to need to show her your Mission Statement. (Note the rare triple-entendre there.)

It turned out that nichols was a double agent. He infiltrated Pfizer-Exxon-Martha-Omnichols and installed puppet CEOs and CFOs, who spun-off Omnichols as an independent company, leaving nichols in constructive control of both Pfizer-Exxon-Martha and Omnichols.

Chimay Worth ...

Oh, my God!

George - what happened to you? What's that you've got there?

Of course, the problem with dynamic avatars, is that this thread just doesn't work without the Donald:

Nailed it!

But will the mainstream media give credit to Lotta Living?
