Burlesque beauties, pinup girls, vintage fashion, swanky suits, go-go boots, hairdoos,

I've always been curious about the vintage photo of the bumper car-like vehicle on the Newsboys-Take Me to Your Leader album. The inside jacket does identify the name of the car as well as the inventor's name...but I lost my copy of the CD. Anybody have more info? Thanks.

(I'll answer this old question o' mine, myself.) The Newsboys vehicle was a George Barris design, which essentially floated on a 5-inch cushion of air, and could float over water or on land...so long, I suppose, as it wasn't a cornfield or dirt road! I'd imagine it would offer the smoothest of rides. The George Barris website (home) has a very cool intro. The whole website is what we would call "best-of-the-best" in terms of visual quality. Glad I found it to share!

Thanks Mark,

Your original link is broken, so I searched for the album on amazon (click the image):
