Does Modern (architecture) = Classical (music) ?

Von Drake in Man in Space....

Postby Slim and Gabby » Fri Aug 08, 2008 10:10 am

Yes, you DO remember this bit correctly.

This is from Disney's "Man in Space" on the DVD " Tomorrow Land- Disney is Space and Beyond". Slim says it's pretty much an orgasmic experience for him, and I think it's pretty swell, too.

This is some very heady stuff. Disney actually worked with rocket scientist Werner Von Braun to get the science right, and the Ward Kimball designed segments on space are absolutely unequalled anywhere. But only Disney could frame some heavy duty stuff with such weird entertainment.

Wall-e, Space Chumps and all the other recent Space Themed entertainment of recent note don't seem to have any idea anything this good has been done. Too bad current Disney can't take a page from this. This is some of the best stuff out there! I'd be surprised if you can't find this on Netflix.
We LOVE it.
