What location is this? It says 1200 N. Harbor Blvd or 1168 West Katella Ave?

On the left of the building you'll see 1200. Cool numbers by the way.

I believe this was the location on Harbor Blvd. and the 91 freeway. If so, I went there as a kid with my mother. It's been replaced by a typical Carl's Jr. with a drive thru...

Cool building! Can anybody tell us who the architect was? I could live in that store if converted to a house!!!

MISSING my long and straight beams, stretching from the outside and piercing through the interior and back out again; seeing it all in one glance! WOW, it was gorgeous!

Carls and Anaheim

Sorry-- I don't know the architect, but I am from Anaheim and that indeed was at the location off the 91. That is the mothership location for the company-- gone now. Incidentally, if you are in Anaheim, go to the local history room second floor of the Central Library off Harbor and Broadway. Jane Newell, the City Historian, coordinated a program, funded by the City, to archive and document every notable Mid-Century Modern style building and sign that ever existed in Anaheim and still exists now (not many). Chris Jepsen of www.spaceagecity.com and I worked with her. There are now over 130 entries. The city pays for her to buy vintage postcards off e-bay as part of the project.
