Rockwood Lanes Portland Oregon Bowling Alley to be razed

Postby Sputnikmoss » Sat Oct 27, 2007 9:13 am

Another one of my favorite bowling alleys is going to be bulldozed to house the new Justice Center in east Multnomah county. Located 18500 SE Stark, Portland OR

Here are just a few photos I took last fall when the alley was still in operation.

No wonder I am going to install bowling lanes at home. It's depressing to see all the bowling centers get demolished! In Miami we went from 22 to three, and only ONE left out of the original 22. Even the centers still open "remodeled" inside, YUCK! My two lanes will be true 50's style. Nobody ever will preserve a bowling alley.
Make modern your own, don't trust others to- it's our future.
