I have always enjoyed that one while visiting my sister in Santa Monica. It looks like the one I went to while growing up. Sears left it years ago, but it was giving historical status due to its streamline construction.
Its now mixed use with Best Buy and the Container Store using the retail space. They have added Bauhaus like condos on top and it looks pretty good.
Best pic I could find but it does not show the best of the streamline sections.

The Sears automotive building, which opened in 1947 on the southeast corner of 4th Street and Colorado, had it's signage removed on Wednesday, March 31. The site is planned for demolition...

Thanks CapitalMod, there was a thread awhile back, someone asking about Sears facades around the Country, I mentioned this one and wondered if it were still in buisiness, not only isn't still a Sears, well it looks nothing like the fantastic building I recall, do not tell me they removed the auto ramp built into it's facade
