I stumbled on the Pacific Beach location last weekend--gorgeous, but a use of space that may not last long into the 21st century on a busy, gentrifying intersection...

Wonderful exterior mosaic murals ("Childrens Zoo," "Harbor," portraits of a native, frontiersman, fisherman, etc., by "S.H."), and a bronze sea lion sculpture in the garden out front. If there were gold bands on the exterior, they appear to have been painted over with brown paint.

The building is mentioned on page 7 of this thread by Noah (pix taken by Chimay). What are the other San Diego locations?

What's the latest with this survey, and the MOTION to take it out of L.A. County? (And what about out of state...?)

Thanks, everyone; I find these banks and the artwork totally inspiring! 8-)
