Pan Am Worldport airliner terminal to be demolished.

Postby Baron von Swankenstein » Thu Jul 18, 2013 10:11 pm

I thought folks here would like to know that the MCM airliner terminal The Worldport, at JFK International in New York, is facing demolition. If you've ever seen That Touch of Mink (1962) or any episode of the TV series Pan Am, you've seen The Worldport.

You can get the details in my article at UltraSwank.net; Also, Koop Kooper will be interviewing one of the organizers of the preservation group Save The Worldport in a future episode of Cocktail Nation. Keep an ear out for that!

Thanks!
