Kaltenbach did function as a builder for a few tracts-Mostly called 'Palm Village' and usually located in Placentia.
Barry Berkus designed several tracts for McCarthy-Sant co. in Diamond Bar and Yorba Linda (Fairmont Tracts) and around Hacienda Heights. And I think for S & S.
LC Majors had a lot of tracts built by Deane Homes famous for their 'Garden Kitchen' concept with the pass thru window to an eating bar outside.
