Will be vacationing in Seattle for a few days next month, would love to hear suggestions on points of interest...architectural, shopping, eats and otherwise.

In Seattle, IMHO must-sees are their new main library by Rem Koolhaas

and the new outdoor sculpture garden on the waterfront

Also we found some good vintage stores in Belltown on 1st and 2nd Aves and in Capitol Hill on Pike.

This looks like a very reasonably priced place to stay in Pioneer Square:

Don't miss the Science Fiction Museum:

The SFM is part of Gehry's Experience Music Project building which has a larger music museum ... also worth spending some time there.

Architecturally, I think there's some kind of tower in the city. The Spacely Space Sprocket building, I think. (Here's a tip for that - have lunch in the restaurant there and avoid lines just to go to the observation deck.)

And finally, don't miss this one:

Not only is the building super cool:

but the entire Worlds Fair Grounds is the most-ut! We spent a day there, but I could easily have spent two or more just looking at all the details, super keen-o! Take lots of pictures, you might get some kind of inspiration for your home; I know I did.
Pen-gu-ins is pracatically chickinz, and I hates to see chickinz cry so much, I has to put’em outta ther mizzery!

hands down...

I'm gonna keep on the run... I'm gonna have me some fun if it costs me my very last dime.
If I wind up broke up, well, I'll always remember that I had a swingin' time
